No hot water/very little hot water for Bath- Why?

Strange this one.

We have a combi- Valiant! When I run a bath the hot tap is hot for about 10-15 seconds then becomes look warm. I have to turn it off a few minutes then on to get more hot water. A pain if you want to fill the whole bath.

Now I tend to bath at night so the boiler is on for the central heating. There should be no other appliances running "stealing" the hot water.

The Boiler has a temp dial and its on 1 out of eight(engineer recommended this). Boiler serviced about 10 months ago.

Any thoughts?

Which Vaillant is it?

Try turning the hot water stat up to max and try again.
