Hello

My first post from an average DIYer :)

I have just moved the water tank in my attic. Straight forward enough. Just moved it a few feet to make access to the attic easier.

Of course I turned off the mains supply and drained the tanks before moving them. Water went back on no problem and the new plumbing is sound.

There's a good flow with the cold water ... but little or no hot water. I really wasn't expecting this!!! Hope you guys can help to get my hot water back flowing as I need a bath! :)

TIA ... Mick

Draining the tanks can sometimes suck debris into the pipes.

Sounds like a run-of-the-mill airlock.

Do you have any mixer taps in the house on which the cold is from the mains?

If not, do you have a washing machine with hot and cold appliance hoses?
