thought it was all technical..yes i can buy an electrical convector heater but will just get the open fire and little wenlock going instead...the hot water is more of a problem....

£1000 seems cheap for supplying and fitting a boiler :shock: .

I would consider spending the extra and having a Valliant or Worcester.
Baxi seem to crop up a lot on this forum and I wouldn't personally have one. You pay your money and take your choice.

As stated you should have your system flushed out and consider a scale reducer too if you are having a combi.
 
What has a young baby got to do with the heating not working and no dont bother with baxi if there past fiasco with combis is anything to go by.
