no pilot light

i\\\'ve got a glow-warm fuelsaver mk11 the pilot went out last night after the pipes started to bang and the controller switching on and off quickly after resetting the controller i tried to light it but no joy. replaced the thermo coupling but still no joy cannot get anyone recommended to come out till next week (been charged£80 to replace tc before so now wary) can anyone help please?

Sounds like your pump has gone causing the boiler to overheat and automatically trip your pilot light out , Check your pump isnt seized .

sounds like pump has gone and caused the over heat stat to trip these are self resetting and don`t always reset. So new one req as well as pump. Could also be lack of water in system instead of pump knackered.
