no power :(

So the start point has to be the value of the machine. Google and I see £1734, and £57.56 that is a massive difference in price. Further looking, and the cheap one was a toy, but £209 will get a machine. So how much is the machine worth? And for my own interest, what can a £1734 machine do, that a £209 one will not?
thank you for your time to this reply i really appreciate you good person taking time to help other person. very good
yes washing machine i check now on google it is one for 250 and one for 1000 i see no difference just maybe company different?

I have not had a domestic machine repaired on site for less than £100. If a new one costs £200, then the repaired machine needs to last at least half the time of a new one.

Now I had a new pump in my 3 year old machine, and still going 4 years latter, so some times it does pay to repair, but depends on how much it cost to start with.

so how much will it cost for a bearing replacement?

Which is where, repairing yourself, is so worthwhile..

I have in the past done DIY repairs, which have never lasted that long, before something else fails. At my time of life, I can afford to get someone else to repair, and with my Panasonic washing machine I have done this, it seems the pump failed, however, since then the same has happened a few times, and it transpired it was a colour catcher getting into the pump, it seems to get through the drum and the filter, removing the filter draining first even with a rod up the hole it seems not to dislodge the colour catcher, what it needs is to remove filter without draining and the colour catcher comes floating out, but that really makes a mess.

So there is something to be said for DIY, however to replace bearings on an inverter drive washing machine, that is not a DIY job, so it depends on likely fault, and type of machine.
