Hi loft type guys,
I've been sorting out the insulation in the top loft of our victorian semi. It had been part insulated by the previous owners but they had put the insulation right up against the roof felt between the rafters.
I have been moving this down to between the ceiling joists as I see no point in keeping the loft warm
But ....
And isn't there always a but ?
We have an attic room so I can't get at some of the insulation i.e. the bit from the loft space all the way down to the eaves ? I assume this was done in the same way but I guess there was always a chance they just insulated the vertical walls of the attic room rather than the sloping roofs
I can't really see anyway round it short of knocking holes in the attic room walls - or working from the outside ... neither of which are feasible ?
Any brights ideas or shall I just leave it and not worry ?
I'll try to post some piccies
Thanks in advance
Steve
