No Water from tap (Plumbing)

Hi,

There is no water comming from the hot water tap in our downstairs loo.
This was not always the case, it used to work fine then after a while the flow slowed down to a trickle and now it has stopped altogether. Can any one please advise?,

Have to wonder if the tap's working. Sometimes they come to bits inside, or the mechanism rises and leaves the washer and jumper stuck to the seat.

could be scaled up on the filter which usually is placed over the end of the spout, try to unscrew it?
