Can anybody help. My Baxi Boiler which is 7 years old, as started to make a constant and annoying clicking noise shortly after it as switched its self off, this goes away when it is switched on again. Any thoughts on what could be the problem?

Regards

Mick

hmmm clicking noise eh?.....ill guess any of the electronic back boilers :D

Solo RS or PF 1,2 or 3 or the 'new' Solo
Well done Gaz

When does the clicking start, boiler reaches set temp or controls turn boiler off or something else?

What does the clicking sound like, how fast is it, is it metallic or watery or???

It starts when the boiler is switched off, it starts off slow and then becomes a rapid metallic clicking noise. The only way to stop it is by turning off the main power supply switch on the wall. During the heating or water being on there is no clicking sound?

Regards

Mick

Sounds like it could be the good old relay chatter syndrome

What type/ make of diverter valve does the system have?
