I’m getting intermittent vibration and noise from a newly installed Danfloss auto by-pass valve. This was put in following installation of Dayton TRVs on all my rads. I can isolate the valve and the noise stops but would like to know if removing a TRV head from, say, a bathroom towel rail ( or just setting it to max) would provide a safe temporary alternative whilst I await the return of my plumber to check out the bypass valve? I can’t get hold of my plumber to ask him.

yes it is fine as a temp measure to just remove a TRV head, your by-pass valve will have a direction arrow on it, make sure it is fitted in the correct direction
