We’ve had our Vaillant ecoFIT pure 825 combination boiler installed 2 weeks ago.

When we now turn the hot water on the boiler makes a very loud noise. Is this normal? (Video linked)

Also since changing over from our old Water Cylinder System/old Boiler, our taps & toilet have been much louder? Is this common?

Thanks,
Jodie

It does sound a bit on the loud side. What did your installer say? With regards the toilet/taps, if they were on low cistern pressure previously, then yes, being on mains would certainly increase noise.

Get you installer back, it's his job as the installer to verify what it's doing and confirm whether there's anything wrong or not. Otherwise it's a Vaillant call out.

Did he power flush the system?

Hi all, thanks for you replies!
We’re going to call the installer to come and have a look on Monday.

He did a chemical flush when he installed.

We think our water pressure may be too high? He said he can install a pressure reducing value on our mains inlet? Not sure if the water pressure could be the reason for all the noises‍♀️
