Noisy Heating System

My boiler is a Ravenheat Condensing Combi and has suffered a tapping noise in the system since installed, appearing to come from a particular area (upstairs radiator, adjacent to wall mounted boiler, Last year the problem ceased and during the year I fitted a larger capacity radiator downstairs and reduced the radiator size upstairs, total 8 rads, all rads bled. The tapping has recommenced and is driving me to drink
(thats my excuse! !) Can anyone help before I get hooked on the drink!!

hey fella the tapping could be due to the pipe work in the floor knocking against the joist as copper expands as it heats up. sometimes the noggings cut out for the heating pipework isnt large enough!! ho ho ho !!
