Hi,

After flushing any of our toilets a high pitched noise can be heard for anything between 20-60 seconds.

To stop the noise we have to switch on the cold tap of the bath. I have bled all the radiators but this hasn't made any difference as it doesn't seem to be an airlock.

Can anyone advise me what else I should be checking for?

Cheers

Marcho

Change the washer in the ball valve, although taking it out & cleaning it quietens it down for a bit.
At the top of the float arm you'll see a large plastic nut, unscrew that & you'll see the washer. Turn the water off first though.

Excellent thanks Keego! I'll do that and let you know whether it's done the business.
