When the hot and/or cold taps are turned on (either via the basin or shower) occasionally there is a 'banging' noise in the floorboards. This can get very noisy when downstairs !!

I'm considering lifting the floorboards to check to see if the plastic pipes are rubbing against anything. I was then going to use the foam insulation tubes as a fix ?!?!
