Hi

I have a Triton Aquasensation power shower. The problem is that when it is first turned on it is very noisy and the water flow is very low. After a few minutes when it gets going it quitens down, the flow becomes normal and works very well. It has been like that since I bought the house about 3 years ago. My heating system is a gas boiler and a hot tank which feeds the shower. Any ideas what the problem may be?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks

sounds like the motor/pump is on it's last legs
also check the condition of the brushes.

Thanks Seco Services

Given that it works fine after a few minutes I thought that the pump was probably Ok, but could this still be the sympton of a worn out pump? Also where would I get a new set of brushes?

more like the motor than the brushes then.
but have a look at the brushes ate the top of the motor.
depending on model Aquasensation they may still be available. most are i can check. ;)

Many thanks Seco Services, it will probably be next weekend before I get a chance to get into it but will let you know the outcome.

Thanks again

just checked the motor/pump is pt no 841000130 approx £95
i'll check the brushes ;)
