I really need some advice. About 2 months ago I had a brand new Worcester Bosch Combi boiler fitted along with 7 new Radiators and a Towel Rail in the Bathroom. The Boiler is situated in the kitchen. I have 4 double Radiators downstairs and the 3 Radiators upstairs in the Bedrooms are singles.
For the first week, all seemed well.
Now for the last 5/6 weeks I've noticed that there's a very loud "whooshing" noise coming from all but 1 of the radiators. The only one that doesn't make a noise is the double in the Living Room.
The noise is so loud that when my heating comes on at around 5am, we are all woken up. The noise is continuous until we turn the TRV down.
However, when the heating goes off, then comes back on, the noise happens again, even if we keep the TRV really low, then we have to turn it down even more.
Our boiler also seems to be a little noisier than before.
I've turned the radiator heat dial down on the boiler and I've tried the TRVs on pretty much every number and we still get the noise until the heating turns off again.
We called our plumber back who said "we were looking for the noise" and that the reason was that the water was flowing very quickly through the pipes, into the Radiators, causing the noise. He doesnt know how to rectify the problem
I'm really hoping someone can offer me some advice. We are all at our wits end with this moise. It really is very loud.
