We have a Gloworm 350ci boiler which is about three years old. The problem we have is that after the central heating has been running for a couple of hours, we experience quite a loud banging noise from the radiators. The noise can be stopped by adjusting the thermostatic rad valves either up or down, but the problem then moves to the next radiator. If we turn on the hot water tap, then the noise stops.
The plumber who fitted the boiler has been back to look at the problem and just blames loose pipes under the floorboards.
Has anybody any suggestions as to what the problem may be?
