Non-return valve leaking - can this be 'adjusted'?

I have a non-return valve on the mains feed into a Zilmet expansion vessel. The valve includes a quarter turn shut off tap (to the left in the attached photo) and this tap leaks (sprays water up the wall) in any position between open and closed, and drips in the open position; thankfully it doesn't leak fully closed.

I just wondered whether there's any adjustment available on these valves to stop the tap leaking, or whether I need to get a replacement valve fitted?

The black plastic tap sits onto a double D shaft, so the screw in the end just holds the tap on. I'm not sure whether there would be any adjustment options under the inspection cover on the opposite side (on the right in the photo)?

I'd be grateful for any thoughts or advice.

It does to a layman !!
The EV, PRV PG and filling loop all connect to the same fitting.

Are you being deliberately pedantic ??

I am never pedantic so where does the filling loop connect to on the "same fitting " , will leave that with you, I dont want to sound pedantic

I would leave it alone, surely it only gets used once annually to top up system?
Just wrap a cloth round it when you use it, it doesn't leak when off.

It doesn't currently leak when off!

I'm going to get it changed. Thank you to everyone for the advice - it's much appreciated.

The "Quattro manifold"
Which to a non plumber could appear to be part of the EV.

I retract my suggestion that you are being pedantic !

More like "Four King Count" !!!
