Norton antivirus removal, how to?

I've got Norton antivirus on a PC and I'd like to remove. It's out of date and keeps nagging me to renew my subscription, which I don't want to. It doesn't appear in "add remove progs" and I can't see a way to get it out. Anybody know how it's done?

Are you looking for Norton in your Add/Remove programmes? I think it goes under Symantec. If that's not there, go to Start, All Programmes and locate the Norton and see if there's an uninstall option for it in the menu there.
