Any ice hockey fans on here? Nottingham Panthers player Adam Johnson died last night after receiving a skate across his neck during a match against the Sheffield Steelers. I can only remember one other incident like this some years ago in the NHL, 1989 I think, when a goalie, Clint Malarchuk, had the same injury, he survived thankfully.
