How about, for a start, you produce the evidence showing the deleterious effect on the wages of tradesmen that "floods" of "cheap foreign labour" had.
It's called supply and demand - nothing to do with them being foreign.

The effect is minimal. It's not a zero sum game which is the be all and end all of Brexiteers understanding of economics.

Stephen Nickell is currently Honorary Fellow of Nuffield College, Oxford having been the Warden of the College from 2006 to 2012. He was also a member of the UK Budget Responsibility Committee from 2010 to 2016. Previously he has held Economics Professorships at both LSE (London School of Economics) and Oxford and was President of the Royal Economic Society from 2000 to 2003.
