Number of Radiators in The Converted Kitchen

Hi Guys,

Doing an integral garage conversion, knocking down a wall and joining it to a small room with an existing radiator. (Small Room 5sqm, Garage 10sqm; new kitchen area 15sqm)

Are there any specific Building Regs about the number of radiators per room? I want to leave one radiator, but replace it with a big vertical radiator (double BTU). Is this Ok?

As long as pipework is capable of supplying the bigger rad crack on.

You will be disappointed with a vertical rad , they can look good but heat distribution is very poor, compared to a similar sized traditional radiator
