Oak window boards

Hi all

I have just taken delivery of two lengths of 350 mm wide oak window boards. They are jointed in two pieces as i expected but only one of the pieces has been jointed with the end growth rings going in opposite ways. Should they be opposite as a matter of course to prevent cupping as i have been told or is it not necessary? Would you be concerned if they came jointed this way?
