Obscured or clear glass for small dressing room window?

What do you guys normally install for small dressing room size windows of say 800mm width by 1000mm high, obscured pattern glass or clear glass? The bedroom in question is a first floor small dressing room attached to a master bedroom with the dressing room facing the front side of the house and approx. 2.4m deep and 1.8m wide.

Just wondering if it will look odd to have obscure glass when all other glass on the front elevation is clear, except for a ground floor window for the bathroom of similar size (also on front elevation).

Very true, but I guess that would be the purpose of a net curtain or blinds.

You tend to find that many toilet windows are obscured glass even though they are too high to see people taking a dump.

You also find that not many people look at a house and think it odd if all the windows don't have clear glass.

A previous property of ours had a bedroom en-suite with frosted glass to the front elevation. Doesn't look odd IMO.

if this is new build and you specify obscured glass, then you're probably stuck with it, but if you specify and fit plain glass then you have the options of blinds, curtains or fitting obscure pattern film at a later date.

Yes but most bathrooms are on the rear elevation not front (I know some are on front) and this is 2m by 2m small dressing room attached to a bedroom for which we specified clear glass in the planning app.

Try slightly obscured or leaded lights to make a real feature of it. Can't understand why you think it might look odd though.

A bathroom on the ground floor ? All the windows downstairs should be obscure- for when you get out the bath and forget you're downstairs
