Obsolete gas valve

yeah also use the 384345 gc number in parts list
Thanks. I managed to get one although I think those that do have them are profiteering - on one site they were listed at £57.85 but none in stock. I paid £450 but some were £900 plus VAT .
Anyhow, British Gas man installed it and everything is working well.
I guess I'll need to think about a replacement boiler if parts are scarce/obsolete - BG suggested a combi but I'll look into it a bit more.

So everythings been working fine until this morning when the boiler didn't fire up and the pilot was out.
I reignited the pilot but it was a yellow flame and didn't want to stay on. I turned the control valve and the boiler fired up.
I went out for an hour and when I returned the boiler was again off and now the pilot won't light.
Any thoughts?
Also, in the troubleshooting part of the installation/commissioning "book" it says try to light with a match but doesn't say where to do this.

As valve was changed by BG less than a month ago maybe get them back?
Yes, they came today. The pilot line was blocked - he used a tiny reamer type tool and cleared it. Must of happened during the refit of the gas valve.
(although I don't need one, he said the pilot burners are obsolete but I checked on-line and they are readily available)
