We're temporarily living in rented accom and want to change our door panel so we can put a cat flap in new one, but can't work out the beading . (ironically every other door /window is the knife in gap pop out beading sort).
We're wondering, (have tried to read up but slightly confused) if we need to remove rubber from inside to gain access this way. There is no gap where bead meets door it looks overlayed.
Any advice (with photos appreciated) , we don't want to damage door by giving it a try!
Thanks in advance!

Hopefully photos attached which show internal and extremal sides.

If it is externally glazed (removable strips on the outside) normally you need to pull out the inside rubber to allow the panel to move back and permit removal of outer bead, if that helps.

thanks footprints...but fairly certain the beading for removal is on the inside (first photo). This looks move likely to be removable than the external (bottom photo)

OK internal glazed.
As rule a flat blade scraper on the edge opposite the rubber does it, my guess is it hooks under that side like this video where he shows how to butcher the window with a chisel!
Just take his advice and use a scraper or stiff filling knife.
It looks like you have been trying to lever off from the corner rather than releasing the centre first.

Ok its defo internally beaded, the gasket on the outside is co-extruded, bonded on so doesn't come out, get yourself a sharp scraper like this one....

Just google 'xpert scraper' for deals, they are very sharp and perfect for your beads, start in the middle of the longest length although being a bottom panel theres probably nothing in it, if the beads are mitred in the corners no end of levering will release them as one fouls the other, hammer the scraper in the top bead for instance and lever up while still applying inward pressure, once you get a bit started place the scraper against the lip on the bead and hammer downwards
