Hi all,
I have a mixer tap on my final bathroom installation. The braided hoses that it came with of course screw into the tap no problem but the connection ends instead of being compression rings to join the copper, are a threaded nut. I thought they would might have been standard threaded tap connectors but being a loose nut (and rubber washer) I can't connect them.
Wickes sell the right braided hose (with the small thread to go to the mixer tap and then a 15mm compression fitting on the other end) but I am reluctant to buy them when I am sure these will work if only I knew what part to buy to connect to copper.
Does anyone know the answer to this? It is puzzling me!
Thanks.
Ian
