Kitchen mixer tap connections

Hello,

Our new kitchen mixer tap is a monobloc. It came with two braided flexi-hose connections. The small ends screw directly onto the tap base - the large ends look about 15mm but have rubber washers in them. Can I fit these onto a standard 15mm compression fitting, or do I need a special connector?
