Odd underground pipe? Can anyone identify?

Pretty sure I saw a picture of pipe like that on another forum recently, I`ve had a look but can`t find it now. Not helping I know but frustrating me!

In the words of Monty Python,it's thin at one end, much much thicker in the middle and thin again at the other end! Therefore I deduce it's a brontasaurus!

Why not excavate beneath it and make a concrete base for the I C finishing halfway up the pipe. The top of the pipe can be removed with a grinder and cutting disc to form the channel and the ic built out of bricks......Simples !!!

All done and jobbies are back on their way to the seaside :D

It wasn’t deformed or owt, perfect circle inner and outer ID. We got a plastic IC onto it and picked up the new connection no problem.

Just was curious on what it was made for?

Thanks to all for the input,

Deano.
