hi having run out of oil in the past problem was fixed by bleeding the system.

Now it will just not fire and no oil is spitting out ?? does anyone have a simple solution before i have to call out an expensive boiler man

thanks

Why do you think that a typical £84 callout is expensive?

Dont you think that its important to make sure you dont run out of oil?

Even more so not to use it for a few hours after filling and disturbing all the sediment!

in the current climate its pretty easy to run out,
when tank was filled i waited 4 hrs b4 attempting to fire it.

Take the nozzle out.
Disable the spark electrodes.
Does it squirt out now. :-)

Probably pulled in a load of dirt. New nozzle.

no oil is reaching the bleeding valve no spitting or bubbles??
im more of a pc /game console repair guy than plumber really , my have to call someone but wanted to make sure i wasnt something i could sort first.
thanks for that ill update when i get a chance.

Look further back along the oil line, you may have a filter that needs bleeding, and if it is one under the tank gauge, make sure you have pulled the 'pull to read' button.
