When burner turned on, motor runs, pump pressure approx 0.5 - 1 bar. Boiler then goes to lock out. If on start up, you switch the boiler off and on to or three times the pressure increases to 10 bar and boiler runs.

I have cleaned the fuel filter, installed new fuel pump and control box, still does the same, i.e. switch on boiler, motor runs then to lock out, but if you switch the boiler off and on a few times on start up, burner will run until temperature cuts burner.

Burner is Bentoflex ST108, fitted to a Geminox Boiler. It has a plastic oil tank, the bottom of which is at the same level as the boiler approximately 6meters away with 10mm twin pipe system.

Any suggestions as to why pressure will only increase when boiler turned on and off several times?
