I'm replacing my oil line to the boiler. I am aware I'll need some isolating valves, a fire valve and filters. I have decided on the following:
KBB fire valve - valve outside but sensor in boiler housing inside house
Atkinson Tankmaster oil gauge - on all-in-one isolator/ filter/ gauge
I will also buy (and learn how to use) a pipe flaring tool, if required.
My question is: if I'm not supposed to use compression fittings on the oil line, what fittings are on the equipment mentioned above, and if these are compression fittings, why can these be used?
