I need to replace an old 1270x520 radiator, however I can only find 1200 or 1300 length. The floor is concrete with a wood floor on top so don’t really want the hassle of taking the flooring up and digging out the pipework to change. Is it possible to fit a 1200 length radiator and have some kind of connection to make up the gap? If it is possible, is it a recommended practice?
Best Regards

Yes,
I would use one on each side for neatness, they are cut down to fit.

from memory the Stelrad compact radiators once rad valves are put on have pipe centres at 1295mm -if you compare what youve got, it will give you and idea what size spacer to add each end

Wickes sell the Stelrad compacts for a good price
