I want to replace two radiators in our kitchen with a couple of bog-standard replacements, but cannot seem to find the same sizes. Height is fine. The old ones are 1350mm and 1085mm wide. The closest I can seem to buy are 1300 or 1400, 1000 or 1100. If I go for the under-size options, How do I make up the gap? The pipes come up out of a concrete floor so can't be bent to fit.

All help appreciated.

You can get rad valve extensions in different lengths to make up the difference.

The other thing you need to look out for is how far they stand off the wall - you may find that your new rads are closer or further away, meaning that the valves won't line up.
