old cement

Could any one tell me, if it is ok to mix old and new cement? I have some in a bag from last year, I wanted to mix with a new bag just bought.

I would say no, for what you will save it's not worth it, the old stuff is likely to be useless


Easy test, mix up a small bit of each with sand, see how each sample is after a few days.

For all the cost of a new bag of cement, i'd ditch the old one.
