I have an old Georgian cottage with a Victorain extension on the back which is a kitchen and bathroom. It has a very uneven concrete floor which had a vinyl covering, I have stripped this up as it was holdinging in the damp and pushing it out to the walls where it was then rising up through the old stones staining the walls. The floor is now drying out as are the walls but I'm looking for advice as to what I can do to the floor to level it out and give a nicer finish but at the same time letting it 'breath'
