Hi,
We recently moved into a new property that had previously had a bad leaking roof problem. The roof was fully replaced before we bought the property and the leak is therefore fixed. We sealed the stained area and wallpapered, but after a few weeks marks have come through the wallpaper, which feels slightly damp. Is it likely there's still a leak somewhere, or could the original damage still be having an effect? The whole original problem area isn't affected, just the bottom part - which means it's isolated to a patch on the wall rather than coming down direct from the ceiling. It hasn't moved or grown from its original boundaries.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
