I want to replace my toilet and cistern with a similar type to the one I already have (but getting past its sell by date). I do not want a close coupled system but one where the water inlet to the pan comes in at the top back and goes to the cistern which is mounted on the wall just above (not one of those where the cistern is high up and flushed with a chain) via a 90 degree bend pipe. I have looked all over for one but a cannot seem to find one. What is the correct name for this system? (assuming that anyone can understand my garbled post that is). Any help would be appreciated. I do not want and do not have a fortune to spend one one though.

Thanks

Brian :(

Low-level toilet suite. Readily available. Try a local merchant. Wickes may also be worth a try. Most sheds (B&Q etc) tend to go up-market with close-coupled suites.

When I brought my house it had the high level cistern with chain but i wanted to replace it for something that was still traditional but with modern features. I searched legend traditional bathroom and it was fairly cheap. :D
