Because we had water damage in our condo, we had to remove the wall to wall carpet that had been placed over a very nice parquet floor years ago, before we bought it.
Now, like our neighbors, we have decided to keep the parquet rather than re-carpet. We don't want to sand and refinish -- it does not really need it.
What it really needs in proper cleaning and re-finishing. It's still has most of the lacquer finish is probably can with, but some is gone. The color varies but is mostly a mahogany, with some surface scratches and stains.
A neighbor just uses Murphy Oil soap and theres lots of products, so I'm confused.
Any advice would be appreciated.
