We are hoping to restore our parquet flooring and need some advice.
We have a large mark on the floor (due to me being extremely stupid with oven cleaner) and looks like the wood has been stripped.
We oiled the floor (as per previous owners advice) when we moved in.
Do we - sand the floor and re-oil? Can we try and stain the wood that we've stripped and then oil it or would just oiling be enough.
Any advice appreciated.

It wood colour oiled? Or just natural oil?

If the later, try first to apply a polish or hard wax on the blocks that look like they're stripped. If that seems to work, apply the polish or wax again a few times.
Re-oiling should not be done as first 'solution' - sanding and re-oiling can be done if the above doesn't seem to be working.
