Old photos of yourself.

Another one of me aged 17 in Malta with no apprehension that I would stick with it for the next 36yrs.

Me in the eighties with my Capri 'S'. I think I might have been into the Professionals at the time. Bodies jacket and car, Doyle’s hair! :ROFLMAO:

Thing I remember on that trip to Cornwall was the accelerator pedal snapping off of the shaft on the way home. I got home by clamping a set of mole grips on the shaft and using those as my pedal. Being a mechanic, they stayed on there for months afterwards and I only fixed it properly when I sold the car to go towards a deposit for a house.

Amazing how small cars were in them days compared to todays SUV beasts.

Amazing how big my Mk2 Cortina GT was compared to a chalet in those days too.Four of us stayed in this chalet when we went to Perranporth one year and when we got there, we had to stump up £80 damage deposit per chalet because we were 13 blokes. I think £80 in the mid 70’s would have paid for it outright!

Chalet deposit - we had that on a trip to Looe in the 1980's, think it was something like £100 refundable after a month, had to be cash not on a credit card. That was going to take most of our spending money then one of the girls did some 'smoozing' of the owner and reduced that 100 quid down to something like £25.

A Ford Gran Torino would have been more appropriate
