The windscreen of my modern 'classic' is probably the original fitment, now 31 years old & undamaged but has an outside surface that has obviously withstood the elements all those years. Can anyone suggest a commercially available cleaning/polish product, possibly slightly abrasive, that would help improve vision?
Those cynics amongst us (& I include myself) might suggest damaging the 'screen & claiming a replacement on my insurance but I don't want to disturb the seal before having to, plus mine has a tinted band at the top that is unlikely to be replicated now.
Thank in advance folks.

Try a decent windscreen repair place, there's every chance they'd have the kit to buff it. We had a squint security etching on a brand new car buffed out by a 'glass guy' via the main dealer.

Thanks for your suggestion Alan, arranged for the work to be done this week.
