Hi, Looking for some help please!

I'm currently repairing the concrete/base around existing toilet waste pipe.

As I'm at this stage, thought I'd ask Is there need to do anything with the old waste? (1960s waste)
The flange/collar sits above concrete slab level about 100mm. The waste runs out towards the red brick.

Planning on fitting a new toilet, probably a 'back to wall type' if possible.

Waste is currently 180mm from wall, but note I am installing 3x2 studwork/15mm plasterboard (78mm) so waste would then be approx 100mm to plasterboard).

Cheers for any help

Having read other posts, looks like I need to cut the flange off and make existing waste level with concrete base.

I think one of these toilets would work without altering the incoming mains, but not sure if it will fit current waste location

I'd fit the soil pipe against the new skirting while it's all opened up. That will give you more options when fitting the pan.

Hi Denso, thanks for the help

Looks like I need to cut existing clay pipe and fit something like this?

Thanks

That's better, to just above the floor then the pan connector can fit into that.

Great thanks denso, much appreciated for your help

Do I install it just above 'finished floor' or just above concrete base?

Cheers

Just above and you can screed to it, not critical though.
