Been hearing this old wives tales since growing up; "If you shave hair it will grow back faster and thicker." I know its not true but has anyone experienced any changes after shaving?

Definitely an old wives tale. Shaving doesn't affect the follicle.

Yeah, just like grass, when cut, it develops a blunt tip, making it look like hair is growing deeper.
