To whichever moderator this concerns.
Let’s be precise. At no point did Pete explicitly claim to be a moderator, nor did he engage in the act of impersonation through so called "fake mod notes" a distinction that, while subtle is critical.
The mere invocation of third person reference does not constitute a violation unless intent to deceive is both evident and sustained.
Where is the evidence?
It could very well be argued and quite reasonably that Pete's use of his own name in the third person serves a rhetorical function rather than a deceptive one.
Don’t you agree?
Having reviewed the current state of his account, it's clear that while a full ban is not in effect, access has been restricted from select threads.
If these limitations are the result of this assumption in which that a third person reference somehow breaches impersonation guidelines then perhaps a reassessment is not only appropriate but overdue.
However, I do appreciate your note and yes impersonating a mod is should be condemned. My post above has been deleted due to the fact that I did not want to introduce any sort of implication of favourism and bias.
I’ll send you a PM.
