Did you do any research on the optimal height for a TV and also check if the wall mount would clash with the location of your outlets.

No, but I have placed all of the outlets so they are hidden behind the TV. TBH I don't watch the telly much, Ilisten to music more than watch it so it wont actually get used much.

Thing is, my village is just full of Barristers, Drs, Business owners, the likes of B&Q etc, the lowest grade in the village is a junior Dr and everyone was up in arms over that. Imagine if they found out that I had left bricks out from behind my TV, we would have been ignored forever.
