Hi all, fitted my bathroom towel rad today, emptied the system few weeks back to inject descaler. After filling it back up with inhibitor today the rad that the plumber fitted a year ago doesnt heat up, all the other new ones (3) that i fitted are scortching. Its only this rad that ive had trouble with in past also. Ive tried bleeding it, tried turning all the other rads off to try and push airlock out still no joy. I've even slackened the valves to try and push the air through that way. Also tried the trv making sure pin is loose which is all ok, both pipes leading to it were stone cold untill i drained a bit from lockshield side then pipe started to get hot. But now its back to the same, both pipes freezing. Any ideas? rad seems to be a bit of a nock off one as when he fitted it, the rad had bowed.

I appreciate anyones help and thanks in advance

How long have you waited since refilling the system? Usually you can clear an air lock pretty easily using the process of turning off all the lockshield valves except those on the problem radiator, as you've already tried. However, I've a radiator in my house that always suffers from airlocks after the system has been drained, and sometimes even this wont clear it. Given a couple of days normal usage, it always sorts itself out.

Why bother posting a problem then ignoring questions to try and help you most annoying
