Help!!!!! I have one single cold radiator in my house. The "plumber" has replaced the TRV, flushed it (which made it worse!!) and cleaned the sludge out. Before he messed with it, the in pipe was hot, but the radiator wasn't. Now the pipe isn't even hot, and neither is the radiator. He says there is a blockage in the pipe under the landing floorboards, and it will cost £300 upwards to fix. I can't see it myself!!! Help!!!

Make sure both valves are open fully and then run your system with all the other rads closed. If the supply pipes to it fail to get hot, then you have a blockage, balancing problem or pump is not working hard enough.

Balancing can be found in the reference section above. :D
