I went to a smaller house today for an LSC.

It has a Suprima 120. It was piped with 2000 mm of 28 mm but thereafter 22 mm.

The poor boiler fired up, got too hot, and switched off after about 30 seconds recycling every couple of minutes.

Whilst I appreciate the boiler is not intended to be range rated, what could I do to solve the problem at minimal cost as its a landlord!

Another question, the burner pressure is shown as Minus 0.4 to minus 1.1 mB. I dont remember a negative presure on this model. Were they changed ?

Pump's a 15-60 I suppose? Did you check the cut-out temp? Temp Sensor? I expect you did, but..

Is it one with a Winter/Summer switch?

Burner Pressures, L's and non L's
Summer -0.46 to -0.67 mb Winter -0.6 to -1.1 mb
The latest ones don't have the W/S switch

Yes it has a pre-mix burner so it isnt possible to range rate :?
pump should be the one above 15-60 (sorry cant remember )
boiler fires up on low gas first then goes to high gas after 1 min by flicking the summer winter switch if it has one this just keeps it in low gas rate giving out 60,000 BTU approx :?

This is a recent boiler without a S/W switch!

How did it operate? Is there any reason why I cannot fit one ???
