one pipe heating system

Hi.

This is just a theoretical question - I'm not planning to do this job.

I was just wondering if a one pipe heating system can be isolated using the rubber bung method normally used on a two pipe system by bunging the pipes in the F&E tank?

Thank you

There! I've thanked you. I'll expect my prize in the post

Another question (you might be thanked again)

If you can airlock any pipe work, is it possible to do it with a sealed system/combi boiler??

Why thankyou Squeaky, prize in the post!
Sealed systems especially, they are sealed. Just make sure to screw down the cap on any auto air vents in the system. Obviously the expansion vessel will still force some water out, so expect a bit of water. Just drain until a dribble comes out. Theoretically the a.a.v's should hold, but i dont risk it
First prize was a one off!
