Open Remote Battery Compartment

Hello.

I have been trying to open the battery compartment on my Medion TV, remote control RC1823, although it looks simple enough to do

I attach photos.

Any ideas, please ?.

Slide in the direction of the arrow - that is towards the bottom.

As above often hard to shift pushing down on the arrow while pushing should help, last ditch insert a small screwdriver in the gap above the arrow and twist gently.

wear rubber gloves which help your hands "stick" to the plastic making pushing easier
